Thomasville police searching for parole absconder

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Police are searching for a man in connection with several charges, including breaking and entering, larceny and parole violation.

Christopher Todd Ledbetter, 18, of Thomasville, is on parole and is currently on the run from police after removing his monitoring device from his ankle on Nov. 10.

Ledbetter was last seen fleeing on foot in the area of Maple Street and East Guilford Street, Thomasville, after breaking into a vacant apartment in the 800-block of East Guilford Street.

Police set up a perimeter and were assisted by High Point Police with a K-9 but were unable to locate Ledbetter.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ledbetter is asked to call Thomasville police at 336-475-7755 or Crime Stoppers at 336-476-8477.

    Thugs are able to take these electronic bracelets off way to easy anymore….do we want these loser thugs to be set free or something! Unbelievable this NC judicial system is and how the felons are set free and are able to roam amongst us and we have to just wait until they start their crime sprees again and flee.
