Lexington teen accused of making false bomb threat

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A high school student was charged after a false bomb threat was made in September at a Lexington high school, according to deputies.

The 16-year-old, who attends Central Davidson High School in Lexington, was arrested last week and charged with making a false report concerning a destructive device, conspiracy to commit a felony, resist, obstruct and delay law enforcement and accessory after the fact to a felony.

The teen was placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $10,000 bond. His court date is Dec. 2.
