RUSSIA — Edward Snowden, the U.S. national security contractor turned leaker, has found a job with one of Russia’s largest websites, his attorney said Thursday, according to Russian state news agency RIA Novosti.

Snowden, who was granted asylum by Russia earlier this year, will start in his new job on Friday and will perform maintenance for the website, Anatoly Kucherena said, according to the news agency.

Kucherena declined to disclose the name of Snowden’s new employer for security reasons, according to RIA Novosti.
