RDU employees robbed near Terminal 2

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed two RDU employees at gun-point Wednesday morning, WTVD reports.

The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. while the two employees were walking from the employee parking lot to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport’s Terminal 2.

Officials said two armed men approached the employees and took a cell phone, keys and a wallet.

The suspects then fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan. The employees were not injured.

The first suspect was described as a dark-skin African-American man standing around 5 feet 4 inches tall, wearing dark clothing, black jeans and black Air Force shoes.

The second suspect was described as a light-skin African-American man standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and wearing a smoky-gray hoodie and black shoes.

Authorities said RDU officials have increased their patrols due to the robbery.
