Customer robbed at gunpoint inside Apsara Asian Market

Apsara Asian Market

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A customer told police he was robbed at gunpoint at Apsara Asian Market in Greensboro Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the store, 2402 Coliseum Blvd., Unit B, around 6 p.m. where a 32-year-old male said the suspect came up behind him when he entered the store.

The victim said the suspect pointed a handgun at the him and stole the his personal property.

The suspect then fled out of the front door to the business. No other customers or employees of the business were robbed or assaulted.

The suspect was described as a black male, medium build, possibly in his 30’s.

He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark baseball cap. He was armed with an unknown type of handgun.

No one was injured.

The investigation is ongoing.

    Once again handgun crime, with an illegal handgun I am sure, in Greensboro. More and more people I know are getting their conceal and carry permit just to protect themselves. It is well needed in Greensboro.
