Man robbed after suspects asked for directions

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man told police he was robbed while walking along High Point Road on Saturday night after two men apparently asked for directions.

Officers responded to the intersection of High Point Road and Williams Street around 8:30 p.m. in reference to a robbery.

The victim told officers he was walking on High Point Road when a grey Kia stopped and two males got out of the vehicle.

The males approached the victim and asked him for directions. One male then pulled out a knife and demanded the victim’s money and property.

After the two male suspects stole money from the victim, they drove away south on High Point Road in the grey Kia.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 6’0″ tall, wearing dark blue jeans, and a white tee shirt. The second suspect was described as a black male, 6’0″ tall, wearing dark blue jeans, and a light blue shirt.

The victim did not require any medical treatment.

The investigation is continuing at this time.
