Winston-Salem man accused of shooting brother

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police have arrested a man accused of shooting and injuring his brother at his home on Friday night.

Dennis Dennard Inzar, 45, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Police said the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 3800 block of Carver School Road after an altercation between the suspect and victim.

The victim was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and is listed in serious but stable condition, police said.

The suspect was placed in the Forsyth County Detention Center under a $60,000 secured bond and has court planned for Oct. 31.
