Guilford County schools recognized for graduation rates

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — State Superintendent of Public Education June Atkinson recognized nine high schools in Guilford County for their high graduation rates on Monday.

Eight schools in the county had 100 percent graduation rates for the 2012-2013 school year.

Northern High School was also recognized for having one of the highest graduation rates in the state, based on size.

Guilford County had an 86.2 percent graduation rate for the last school year.
