Man hospitalized after incident at Greensboro apartment complex

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was hospitalized on Saturday following an incident at a Greensboro apartment complex.

Officers responded to 1334 Adams Farm Parkway around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police said a man suffering from a physical or mental emergency had brandished a firearm in a threatening manner, prompting residents to leave the complex and call police.

Officers attempted to make contact with the subject, but they were unable to do so.

A perimeter was established and the man was removed from his apartment without incident. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No charges were filed.
