Could cap guns make a comeback?

There was a time not too long ago that one of the most common childhood toys was a cap gun.

Now, many children prefer the realism of video games, but Don Raker says a game controller and a video screen could never replace the pop of the cap, the whiff of smoke and the use of one’s imagination.

The Greensboro Western Memorabilia and Toy Gun Show will be held this Saturday September 21 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Clarion at the Clarion Hotel in Greensboro.

Admission is $5.00 for adults, children under 12 get in free.

Dealers and western toy and memorabilia fans from all over the country attend the event every year.
