TimelineTemperatures are starting out in the lower 70s and the humidity remains high Friday morning, but drier air is on our doorstep.

Dew point temperatures, (an indication of how much moisture is in the air), are in the mid- to upper-60s, but will be falling into the 50s Friday afternoon.

That means it will feel more and more like autumn as the day progresses.

Skies will become mostly clear later in the day. This is superb news for Friday Football games and the Central Carolina Fair!

There will be dramatically cooler weather on the way for the weekend and loads of sunshine. Jackets may be necessary for early risers as temperatures start in the 50s Saturday and Sunday morning!
