SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — A man proposed to his long-time partner by staging an elaborate flash mob at a Home Depot store.

His boyfriend thought he was picking up lighting for a party, but was instead shocked to find an entire dance crew shaking it to “Somebody Loves You,” by Betty Who.

The video was uploaded by Spencer Stout and has gone viral on YouTube with well over a million views in just two days.

FOX8/WGHP’s sister station FOX 13 Salt Lake City spoke to the Utah couple about the proposal in the video below.

“The very first time we met, we walked through a Home Depot, and he showed me what he had built and showed me what we had done, so I thought it would be a great place for the proposal because it was kind of our first date,” Stout said, of his partner.

Dustin said yes and it’s a moment the couple will never forget.
