Man found shot to death in overturned car in Raleigh
RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said a man was found shot to death in an overturned car Sunday morning, according to WTVD-TV.
Police said the victim was found dead shortly after 3:15 a.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Poole Road.
Authorities said multiple people were seen running from the crash.
Police said they found the victim after responding to reports of gunshots just east of downtown when a call came in about a wreck less than two miles away.
Officials said they believe the incidents are related and are trying to identify the people who ran from the car. The name of the victim has not been released.
