Winston-Salem woman charged with child abuse

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem woman has been charged with three counts of intentional child abuse.

Kesha Leigh White, 30, of 710 Ferrell Court, Apt. 3, was arrested Friday and charged with causing serious bodily injury to a 4-month-old in her care.

Injuries to the child included rib fractures and a parietal complex skull fracture, according to the warrant.

White was being held Saturday in the Forsyth County Jail with bond set at $75,000. She is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 19.
