A partly-cloudy Friday is ahead of us with a high around 86 degrees.

A cold front is expected to pass through North Carolina from north to south Friday afternoon and evening, bringing the chance for some showers and maybe an isolated storm. Any showers should end by late Friday night.

Saturday and Sunday will be cooler and less humid. Highs for both days will be around 84 degrees.

The humidity will increase by Monday and Tuesday with a typical summertime weather pattern developing by Wednesday. That means it will be hot and humid with a chance of afternoon storms each day by the end of next week.
