LEXINGTON, N.C. — A Lexington man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Donald Stuart Koontz is charged with ten counts of felony disseminating obscenity and ten counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor.

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, Stuart was arrested Thursday after authorities searched his home at 503 Queens Drive. Deputies allege Stuart downloaded child porn over the Internet from his home.

Deputies say they seized computers, hard drives and other data storage devices that contained “numerous” pornographic images involving children.

N.C. ALE agents, Department of Homeland Security officers, Lexington police and Thomasville police assisted in the investigation, deputies said.

Koontz was jailed under a $2,025,000 secured bond. He has a court date set for Sept. 24.
