Teen robbed at gunpoint at Greensboro apartments

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say an 18-year-old was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday at an apartment building in Greensboro.

The robbery was reported just after 1:30 a.m. at 704 East Lindsay St.

The victim told police he was approached by two men as he walked into the apartment building. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded the teen’s wallet, while the other removed the victim’s wallet and other belongings from his pants. The suspects then ran away. They were last seen headed east through the parking lot of the building.

Officers used a K-9 in an effort to track the suspects, but they were not found.

Ample suspect descriptions were not available.

The victim was not injured.
