WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Winston-Salem is looking to address safety concerns for people walking and biking to Wake Forest University.

City officials recently began accepting bids from consulting firms for a $50,000 study intended to offer recommendations on how to improve bicycle, pedestrian and transit options near campus.
