Arrest warrant issued for Ric Flair’s ex-wife
MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Police in North Carolina are looking for pro wrestling legend Ric Flair’s ex-wife after she allegedly threatened Flair’s new girlfriend, according to TMZ.
A Mecklenburg County Courthouse representative told TMZ an arrested warrant was issued for Jacqueline Beems at the end of June.
Beems is accused of making harassing phone calls to Flair’s girlfriend in October. Police did not go into detail about the nature of the alleged calls or why it took so long to file a complaint.
Beems and Flair were still legally married at the time of the alleged threats. They had been married since 2009 until Beems filed for divorce at the end of last year, citing “acts of illicit sexual behavior.” It was the former wrestler’s fourth marriage.
Flair and his new girlfriend recently appeared on “Celebrity Wife Swap.”
“Nature Boy” Ric Flair is a Charlotte native who has had a professional wrestling career spanning more than 40 years.
