Armed home invasion reported in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for multiple suspects after an armed home invasion in Greensboro.

According to police, officers responded just after 5 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a burglary at 1431 East Washington St.

When police arrived, they spoke with three men who said between 5 and 7 men forced their way inside the house.

The victims said the suspects were armed with multiple handguns and a shotgun. The victims were robbed of cash and jewelry.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

Police were still searching for the suspects as of 9 a.m.
