Deputies: Drugs, guns seized from Reidsville home
REIDSVILLE, N.C. — Deputies say one person was arrested Thursday after they seized drugs and guns from a Reidsville home.
According to the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, deputies served a search warrant at 9742 Cherry Grove Road as part of an undercover investigation concerning drugs being sold at the home, which has a Reidsville address but is located within the Caswell County lines.
During the search, deputies say they seized 2.2 pounds of marijuana, 3 grams of cocaine, $1,434 in cash, digital scales, six “long guns,” six handguns and assorted ammunition.
James Antonio Stephens, 29, was arrested following the search. He is charged with possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is being held in the Caswell County Detention Facility under a $20,000 secured bond. He has a court appearance slated for Wednesday.
