Convenience store robbed at gunpoint in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint late Monday night in Winston-Salem.

The robbery was reported shortly after 11:45 p.m. at the BP at 3836 Reynolda Road.

According to police, the suspect was armed with a handgun and had a white T-shirt covering his face when he walked inside the gas station and demanded money.  The suspect then reached into the cash register and ran away.

Officers used a K-9 in an attempt to track the suspect, but he was not found.

No ample suspect description was provided.
