  • These little goslings were born in my backyard pond! My family and I awaited their arrival anxiously for weeks. Sadly, the gander was killed just about 2 weeks before the goslings hatched. The mother was distraught and sat on her nest with her head down, barely interested in anything going on around her. Once the goslings hatched, she seemed to perk up as the little ones gave her new life and a reason to be happy!

  • This squirrel decided to raid our trash outside and found a nutty buddy left over. He decided to enjoy it up in the tree!

  • Found this tiny guy when I was pruning my Oakleaf Hydrangea. He lives under my back porch and helps me garden in Western Forsyth Co.

  • VERY RARE. READ WHERE THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ONE SEEN HERE IN NC. THIS ONE WAS IN THE BACK OF MY HOUSE HEADED TO A POND JUST OVER THE HILL

  • I saw this Fawn grazing while walking my dog at the park.

  • I couldn't understand why I had not seen any blue birds at the bird house. Upon close inspection I found this flying squirrel had taken shelter there.

  • Think this is a baby rat snake that was found in our yard in Asheboro NC. We can always find a snake in our yard somewhere. Therefore we try to educate ourselves on snakes and believe in live and let live.

  • This little critter lives in our trees near Walkertown. Note the eyes, he's really white and not albino.

  • We have been watching a family of barred owls for months. They were born in a hole in a tree beside our house and continue to "visit" us regularly now. They seem to pose for the cameral!!

  • This guy was in the creek behind our house in the city limits of Thomasville. (Davidson County) my son and a friend ran upon him when they were back there.
