GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police say a woman knocked a man unconscious with a pan Tuesday morning before robbing him.
The robbery was reported shortly after 6:30 a.m. at 910 Pichard St.
According to police, the victim told officers that the suspect, who is an acquaintance of the victim, came to his home to ask him for money.
The victim told officers he denied the suspect’s request before she hit him over the head with a pan. The blow to the head momentarily knocked the man unconscious, police said.
While the victim was unconscious, police say the suspect removed the victim’s pants and wallet from his bedroom. The suspect then ran outside and took money from the victim’s wallet before throwing the wallet and pants onto the ground, they said.
The suspect then ran away in an unknown direction.
Police say they are still searching for the suspect, who has been identified only as a woman named Tracy Hamidou. No further description was provided.
