LEXINGTON, N.C. — A man and woman have been arrested in connection with a pair of break-ins in Lexington.

Christopher Ray Barnes, 24, and Jessica Danielle Gobble, 24, are charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, obtaining property by false pretense and injury to real property.

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects were charged as the result of an investigation that began April 18 when deputies received a report of a home break-in on Helmstetler Road.  Deputies say they believe the suspects are responsible for that break-in in addition to another home break-in that occurred within the following weeks on Ruff Leonard Road.

Deputies say Barnes was already being held in the Rowan County Detention Center for an unrelated incident.  He received a $50,000 secured bond for the break-in charges.

Gobble was jailed in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.

The suspects have a court date set for June 25.
