Slow-moving upper level energy will keep a threat of rain in the Carolinas for the next few days.

On Monday, scattered showers will slowly move eastward, though we will have mostly cloudy skies in most parts of the Piedmont.

A few peeks of sun will help nudge temperatures to near 70 degrees.  Total additional rainfall will be less than 1/4″ in the rain gauge.

Expect mostly cloudy skies Monday night with a low of 56 degrees, but better chances for some sunshine on Tuesday.   Highs will be in the lower 70’s.
