Report: Fantasia signs NC mansion over to the bank
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — “American Idol” winner Fantasia Barrino has signed her North Carolina mansion over to the bank after failed attempts to sell it, according to TMZ.
TMZ reported that Barrino almost got foreclosed on in 2009 and put the home on the market last April for $800,000 — $500,000 less than what she paid for it.
Barrino reportedly transferred the deed over to the bank in February, skipping the foreclosure process and jumping right to losing her home.
Barrino is a 28-year-old Grammy winner originally from High Point who won the third season of “American Idol” in 2004.
