Greensboro to kick off Spring Neighborhood Walks program

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The city of Greensboro kicks off its Spring Neighborhood Walks program on Monday, with city council members eventually visiting each district.

Organizers said the walks provide opportunities for Greensboro staff to meet personally with community leaders and residents and listen to their concerns first-hand.

The complete neighborhood walk dates and locations include:

• Monday, April 23, 5:30 pm at Kirkwood neighborhood in District 3
• Monday, April 30, 5:30 pm at Jonesboro-Scott Park in District 2
• Monday, May 7, 5:30 pm at Starmount Forrest in District 4
• Thursday, May 10, 5:30 pm at Heath Park in District 1
• Monday, May 14, 5:30 pm at Random Woods in District 5

Organizers said each tour includes breaks for refreshments and discussion.
