Wreck causes delays on U.S. 52 South in Forsyth County

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — A wreck caused some congestion Thursday morning on U.S. Highway 52 in Forsyth County.

The crash was reported shortly before 6:45 a.m. on U.S. 52 South between Tobaccoville and Westinghouse roads.

Officials say nobody was injured in the wreck, but it caused some traffic delays between King and Rural Hall.

DOT officials said the right lane of the highway was closed at mile marker 121 for about 45 minutes.

Firefighters and the state troopers responded to the scene.
