Robbers hit Stoneville business for fifth time

STONEVILLE, N.C.-- 220 Sweepstakes in Stoneville was robbed for the fifth time this month early Monday morning, according to authorities.

Three men overpowered a guard for the parlor, but no money was taken. The suspects fled on foot.

Shortly after the incident, Rockingham County Emergency Services called nearby homes using reverse 9-1-1 to alert residents that the suspects were on the run.

The three men are still at large, but authorities believe the community is no longer in danger.
