SPRING HOPE, N.C.–A campaign to find a missing Nash County Chocolate Lab has gone viral, getting the attention from tens of thousands of people all over the world.

According to WTVD, one-year-old “Moose” was last seen on March 6 when he went outside and never found his way home to the Seven Paths and Lake Royale Community in Spring Hope.

Robyn Perkerson and her husband, Moose’s owners, have posted flyers throughout the community and hired a K9 search and rescue team to help look for him.

The family is documenting the search for the dog on the “Help Find Moose” Facebook page, which had accumulated more than 3,000 likes by Friday evening.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for the safe return of the dog.

Anyone with information about Moose is asked to call (252) 904-3894 or (252) 904-0328.
