Troopers confiscate truck possibly used in Greensboro fatal hit-and-run

GREENSBORO, N.C. — State troopers have confiscated a red Dodge pickup they suspect might have been used in a hit-and-run accident that left a man dead on Saturday night.

According to Trooper Greg Ingram, the vehicle was located Tuesday at a residence at 3004 Mornstar Place.

The truck is being processed by the State Bureau of Investigation at the Highway Patrol office in Greensboro.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday night.

Timothy Minor died of his injuries after a pickup truck passed a vehicle and hit the moped he was driving on Liberty Road southbound near Blackmoor Road around 6 p.m. on Saturday.
