5 killed in wrong-way crash on I-85 in Virginia

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Five people are dead following a wrong-way head-on crash early Tuesday on Interstate 85 in Brunswick County, Virginia, according to WTVR.

According to the report, a pickup truck was headed north in the southbound lanes around 6 a.m. when it struck a car head-on.

Four people inside the car were killed and one person in the truck also died.

I-85 is closed at mile marker 26 while police investigate.
