High Point home damaged in fire, no injuries reported

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Fire officials said no one was injured in a house fire on Wesseck Drive in High Point Friday afternoon.

Fire crews responded to 3909 Wesseck Drive around 12:12 p.m. after multiple calls from neighbors in the area.

Officials said the roof of the two-story home collapsed during the fire.

No one was home at the time of the fire, however officials said two dogs and a cat escaped the fire unharmed.

Officials are on the scene but have not started investigating the cause of the fire because fire crews are still working to put out hot spots.
