THOMASVILLE, N.C. — The Thomasville City Council will consider improving the city’s wasterwater system after nearly 105,000 gallons of sewage and rainwater spilled into two creeks that flow into High Rock Lake.

The Winston-Salem Journal reported that the council plans to meet at 6 p.m. Monday in its chambers at 7 W. Guilford St.

Council members are scheduled to discuss ways to improve East Davidson and North Side pump stations where the spill happened on March 1, according to their agenda.
