GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A project meant to turn more landfill gas from the White Street landfill in Greensboro into energy is one step closer to becoming a reality.
Monday is the last day for developers to submit applications for work at the site.
From there, officials with the city of Greensboro will evaluate the proposals and choose a developer.
City officials said they hope to choose one no later than May.
