Man assaulted during Greensboro home invasion

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was assaulted during a home invasion in Greensboro late Sunday night.

Three victims told police they were sitting inside a home on Overland Heights when the front door was kicked in by three men armed with handguns.

One of the suspects struck one of the victims in the face with a handgun and stole property from him.

All three suspects fled the apartment on foot in unknown direction.

The injured victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
