Short-lived tornado hits Johnston County

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C.– The National Weather Service in Raleigh has confirmed that a short-lived tornado swept through Johnston County on Tuesday night, WTVD reports.
The twister that packed winds of 65 to 85 miles per hour, destroyed an old two-story tobacco barn in Micro, according to the report.
Several homes and a car port were also damaged.
