Student sexually assaulted near ASU campus
BOONE, N.C. — A student was sexually assaulted two blocks from the Appalachian State University campus on Sunday, WSOC reports.
The attack happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on West King St., where police believe someone grabbed a 21-year-old-student from behind and dragged her into an alley.
According to the report, police said a car passed the female student along the street before the attack, and two Hispanic men asked if she was “ok”, then drove off. The attack happened a short time after.
