Home destroyed in fire in Tobaccoville

TOBACCOVILLE, N.C. — A Tobaccoville home was destroyed late Sunday evening in a fire.

A neighbor called around 11:15 p.m. Sunday to report the blaze in the 7200 block of Donnaha Road, officials said.

Officials at the scene say nobody was inside the home when the fire broke out.

The home was destroyed, but no injuries were reported.

The Old Richmond Fire Department is investigating to determine the cause.

No other details were immediately available.
