Police: Car catches fire in drive-thru of Dunkin’ Donuts in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police say a car caught fire in the drive-thru of a Dunkin’ Donuts in High Point.

According to Capt. Mike Kirk, the car was in the drive-thru of the fast food restaurant at 278 Eastchester Drive when it caught fire.

Kirk says the fire became fully-involved and some smoke got inside the restaurant.

The building was evacuated, but no injuries were reported, Kirk said.
