NC State football player arrested for DWI

RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities said a redshirt junior fullback at N.C. State was charged with driving while impaired Saturday in Raleigh.

WTVD reported that 20-year-old Logan Winkles was also charged with consuming alcohol by a person under 21. He was reportedly stopped just before 3 a.m. at Dan Allen Drive and Western Boulevard.

Winkles started four games last year for the Wolfpack. He is scheduled to be in court next month.
