Charlotte man arrested after high-speed chase with child in car

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –A Charlotte man was arrested after fleeing from an officer with a child in the car, according to WCNC.

When the 25-year-old was stopped for a traffic violation, he pulled over, but then fled after an “altercation” with the officer, according to the report.

There was a small child in a car seat during the chase, where speeds topped out around 90 mph.
