Charlotte Bobcats President Fred Whitfield honored in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Charlotte Bobcats President Fred Whitfield was honored at Jones Elementary School in Greensboro Monday as part of Black History Month.

Whitfield, along with his mother and father, were longtime teachers.

Whitfield, a Greensboro native, was presented with the key to the city of Greensboro.
