3 killed in reality TV show helicopter crash

3 people were killed in a reality TV show crash near Los Angeles on Sunday. A helicopter being used for a reality TV show crashed and killed 3, according to the Associated Press.

According to the report, Los Angeles County Fire dispatcher Robert Diaz said the crash occurred about 3:40 a.m. Sunday at the Polsa Rosa Ranch in Action. The ranch was being used as a filming location.

Officials confirmed to the AP everyone on board died. The three people aboard the helicopter have not been identified.

Philip Sokoloski, a spokesman for FilmL.A., which processes filming permits for location shootings in the Los Angeles region, said a production company had been approved to use a helicopter for a reality TV show. The shoot was scheduled to go from Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.

A Redondo Beach-based production company called Bongo Inc. had a permit to shoot a reality TV show called “Untitled Military Project” on the property, according to the permit obtained by KTLA.
