Convenience store robbed in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A convenience store was robbed early Friday morning in Greensboro.

Police say they responded around 4:15 a.m. to the Great Stops at 1411 West Lee St.

The clerk told police the suspect entered the business and demanded money using a note.

Police said the suspect implied that he was armed.  He ran away after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a short, white male with a beard around the age of 50.

No injuries were reported.
