KING, N.C. -- Police in King are asking for help in solving a rash of car break-ins early Monday morning.

More than thirty vehicles were broke into, most in residential neighborhoods off Jefferson Church Road between Main Street and Moore Road.

"They broke into my sons truck and stole his duffel bag," said Lisa Prevette who until Monday says she's never had crime in the neighborhood she's called home all her life.

"Now you live in fear and want to make sure our cars are locked every night."

Officers believe the suspects targeted unlocked vehicles grabbing purses, money, laptops and prescription drugs.

This makes the third time cars have been broken into since Thanksgiving.

Police made two arrest in one case on November 30th.

If you know anything or believe you are a victim of this latest break-ins give the King Police Department a call at 336-944-6878.
