Police: Suspects broke into Winston-Salem apartment, shot man in legs

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly broke into a home, assaulted a female and shot a man several times in the legs.

Authorities said the incident was reported shortly before 4 p.m. at an apartment at 730 Ferrell Court.

Winston-Salem police said the crime is related to an argument that occurred the day before.

Police said the male victim was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Complete descriptions of the suspects were not released.
