MOCKSVILLE, N.C. — Allegacy Federal Credit Union held a grand opening for its branch in Mocksville on Tuesday.

The Winston-Salem Journal reported that Allegacy took over I-R Employees’ Federal Credit Union and its two branches in September.

I-R Employees’, which is affiliated with Ingersoll Rand and Doosan, serves 2,800 members and has branches in Davidson and Mocksville.

It was Allegacy’s first entrance into both markets. Allegacy has 16 branches with the expansion, as well as seven student-run branches at Triad high schools.

The financial center is located at 256 Hospital Street in Mocksville.
