Major wreck shuts down I-85 in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A multi-vehicle accident shut down I-85 northbound in Charlotte for a short time on Friday afternoon, according to WCNC.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. and involves a motorcycle and three cars.
WCNC reports that two people were taken to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and another with potentially life-threatening injuries.
All lanes were re-opened by 5:00 p.m.
